These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Evently ("Evently", "Platform", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using Evently, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Platform.

1. About Evently

Evently is an online discovery and listing platform that helps users discover events, venues, vendors, and related event services.

Evently may display information submitted by businesses, vendors, event organizers, users, or other sources.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Evently is not itself the event organizer, venue owner, vendor, service provider, or promoter listed on the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You may use Evently only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law.

If you use Evently on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Accounts

Certain features may require an account.

You are responsible for:

Providing accurate information
Maintaining the security of your account
Keeping your login credentials confidential
All activity occurring through your account

You must notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

4. Event, Venue, and Vendor Listings

Evently allows businesses, organizers, vendors, and other authorized users to submit listings.

You represent that:

You have the right to submit the content
The information is accurate to the best of your knowledge
The content does not infringe third-party rights
The listing does not contain unlawful or misleading information
You have appropriate rights to images, logos, trademarks, and other submitted materials

Evently does not guarantee that every listing is accurate, complete, current, available, or suitable for your needs.

5. No Guarantee of Services

Evently provides discovery and information services.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Evently does not guarantee:

Event availability
Venue availability
Vendor availability
Pricing
Quality of services
Accuracy of listings
Vendor performance
Event cancellation policies
Safety or suitability of an event or service

You are responsible for independently verifying important information before making decisions.

6. Communications With Vendors

Evently may provide mechanisms that allow users to contact vendors, venues, or event organizers.

Any agreement, transaction, booking, payment, cancellation, refund, or dispute between you and a vendor or organizer is primarily between those parties unless Evently expressly states otherwise.

Evently is not responsible for the performance or non-performance of third-party providers.

7. Payments

At the current stage, Evently is primarily a discovery and listing platform.

If Evently introduces payments, bookings, subscriptions, commissions, deposits, or other paid services, additional terms may apply.

Where applicable, pricing, payment terms, refund policies, cancellation policies, and applicable taxes will be presented before a transaction.

8. User Content

You may submit content including:

Reviews
Photos
Videos
Comments
Listings
Business information
Event information
Messages
Other materials

You retain ownership of content you submit.

However, by submitting content to Evently, you grant Evently a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, modify for formatting, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, and improve the Platform.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license.

9. Prohibited Activities

You must not:

Use Evently for unlawful purposes
Provide fraudulent or misleading information
Create fake listings
Impersonate another person or business
Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights
Upload malicious software
Attempt unauthorized access
Scrape or systematically collect Platform data without permission
Interfere with Platform operation
Circumvent security measures
Abuse search, APIs, or other Platform functionality
Spam users or vendors
Use Evently to facilitate fraud
Harass or threaten others
Upload illegal, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise prohibited content
Use automated systems in a manner that creates unreasonable load on the Platform

We may remove content or restrict access when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

10. Intellectual Property

Evently and its original software, design, branding, logos, graphics, text, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Evently and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from Evently's proprietary materials.

Third-party trademarks and content remain the property of their respective owners.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

Evently may integrate with or link to third-party services.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies.

Evently does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites, products, services, content, or practices.

12. Availability

We aim to keep Evently available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time.

13. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Evently is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not warrant that:

The Platform will always be available
Information will always be accurate or current
Listings will be complete
The Platform will be free from errors or security vulnerabilities
Third-party services will operate without interruption

You use the Platform at your own risk.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Evently and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.

This includes losses arising from:

Third-party vendors
Events
Venue services
User-generated content
Cancellations
Business interruptions
Loss of data
Unauthorized access
Third-party websites or services

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

15. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Evently and its operator from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising from:

Your violation of these Terms
Your unlawful use of the Platform
Your submitted content
Your violation of third-party rights
Your interactions or transactions with vendors, organizers, or other users

16. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Evently if we reasonably believe that you:

Violated these Terms
Engaged in fraudulent activity
Created a security risk
Misused the Platform
Violated applicable law

You may stop using Evently at any time.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

17. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The updated version will become effective when posted unless otherwise stated.

Your continued use of Evently after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.

19. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Subject to applicable law, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Chandigarh, India.
